Coonoor Tour Packages

With tea plantations spread across misty mountains, this little gem in South India is relatively unexplored and indeed that is what makes it so charming! Tucked away in the Nilgiri or the blue mountain range, this hill station is dotted with Colonial architecture and is great for exploring on foot.

Coonoor does not have an airport. The closest airport is in Coimbatore, which is well-connected to the rest of India. It also operates a few international flights, largely to Gulf countries.

Coonoor only has a small train line as opposed to a major train station. Coimbatore Junction, a major South-Indian hub, is the closest station, and is well connected to the rest of the country.

Bus services operated by the government operate regularly between Coonoor and Ooty as well as Kotagiri. Buses also ply frequently between Coonoor and Coimbatore.

Coonoor is connected to the rest of the state as well as neighbouring states like Karnataka via national and state highways. The road from Coimbatore, which passes through thick forests, though scenic, is winding.
